Kings School Letter

Dear Aidan,

Thank you for sending us that interesting e-mail about pollution. We learnt a lot about pollution from reading your letter.  We learned that there’s a hole in the ozone layer that’s right above New Zealand and that we have to wear at least two layers of sunscreen each day.

We have been working on soil this year as 2015 is The International Year Of The Soil. Soil is very important. It sustains life on Earth.  Without soil covering the Earth, would be like our body without skin. You might as well live on the Moon if we didn’t have soil. Soil helps produce fruit and vegetables that keep us healthy. Soil helps regulate floods by soaking up the water like a sponge.  Soil also grows trees which gives us wood to build houses.

We hope you learnt a bit about soils.  Thank you for reading our letter.

Yours Sincerely,

Ross, Tyler, Romeo and Matthew

I am learning to write in the third person.
I am so proud of being able to write in the third person.
It can be tricky remember to write in the third person.
A teacher or budy can help me if im stuck.
The next step for me is to write in second person net time.
